This paper makes two contributions. First, effects of family structure on children s education in
Islamic education and also the focus is on the aims and objectives of Islamic education. Most parents
want their children to succeed in school but are often unaware that family life itself has a significant
impact on their child’s education .Islamic education is uniquely different from other types of
educational theory and practice largely because of the all-encompassing influence of the Quran. The
importance of education is repeatedly emphasized in the Quran with frequent injunctions, such as
God will exalt those of you who believe and those who have knowledge to high degrees (58:11.
Such verses provide a forceful stimulus for the Islamic community to strive for education and
learning. The Quran serves as a comprehensive blueprint for both the individual and society and as the
primary source of knowledge. Education in Islam has many aims such as Monotheism, developing
students knowledge of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) and Imams (Ahle –Beyt)
(AS)and appreciate and practice the teachings of their ways . The entire future of the child depends
entirely on the parents teachings, training and environment in which the parents bring up
their child. The home environment and the parents upbringing of the child either makes or
mars the child s future. If the home environment is Islamic, then the child will be religiously
inclined, but if the home environment is un-Islamic, then the child will develop irreligious
traits and habits in him/herself . Primarily, I determine concepts . After determining concepts, I
would consider every subject and at the end some suggestions are presented . However, this topic is a
collection of main resources and textbooks in Islam divine in the context of education and the effects
of family in education. I hope I would be successful to represent, develop and understand this subject
and explain it properly.
