Nowadays, heterogeneous catalysis, due to the high capability in recycling and
reutilizability, has surpassed the homogeneous catalytic systems, despite their benefits such as
high activity and selectivity. Therefore, knowledge base development of nano catalytic
systems are more demand. On the other hand, quinoxaline derivatives are ofthe versatile class
of nitrogen containing heterocycle compounds1 and widely used in photochemical and
electrochemical materials2, dyes and pharmaceuticals3. Also these compounds are active
against various transplantable tumors and have anticancer properties1. In this work, we used
(SBISAC) as a highly efficient, heterogeneous and reusable nano-catalyst for the preparation
ofquinoxalines via condensation reaction of benzene-1,2-diamines and benzil as 1,2-
dicarbonyl compound in ethanol as the best solvent at room temperature. (Figure 1).
