Mesoporous silica-coated magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4@MSNs) is found to be an
efficient recyclable organocatalyst for selective synthesis of indolyl 4H-chromenes derivatives
[1].Easy reaction conditions coupled with simple work-ups, makes this methodology a
superior option for synthesis of diversified indolyl 4H-chromenes [2].
The versatility ofFe3O4@MSNs catalyst is studied for the synthesisof indol-3-yl-4Hchromene
derivatives from the reactionbetween salicylaldehyde, active methylene
compounds, and substituted indoles [3].
