Fluidization behavior of binary mixed hydrophilic SiO2 and TiO2 nanoparticles in the presence of methanol; which was chosen as the best alcohol affecting the fluidization behavior of both hydrophilic SiO2 and TiO2, was studied experimentally. Using the linear regression, the Richardson–Zaki exponent of the individual particles and the binary mixtures in the presence of alcohol was also calculated. The results of both experiments and model showed that the amount of hydrophilic SiO2 nanoparticles have a beneficial effect on the fluidization quality of the mentioned binary mixtures. In addition, the fluidization behavior of binary mixtures of TiO2+SiO2 (hydrophilic) in the presence of methanol alcohol is considerably better than the fluidization behavior of TiO2+SiO2 (hydrophobic) mixtures.
