Nano TiO2@ZnO core-shell was synthesized by two steps method. First, TiO2core was prepared via hydrothermal method and then ZnO shell layer was covered on core ZrO2 by sol – gel ultrasound - assisted irradiation. The synthesized TiO2@ZnO core-shell NPs was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and Emission X-ray dispersive analysis (EDX) . Structural characterization by XRD confirmed the formation of the anatase phase of TiO2 and high crystalline hexagonal zinc oxide.
