چكيده فارسي :
In the near future, growing demands of connected devices with better quality and new applications will lead us to change many features of current mobile technologies in the next generation networks. Device-to-Device communication is an innovative technology in the future cellular communication networks (5G) to endure rising demands of stable and ubiquitous connectivity, uninterrupted communication services in the cellular communication networks, even in moving fast and ultradense situations. D2D proposed a new wireless communication technology considered as an efficient bandwidth and spectrum usage, ultra-dense connected devices capacity, low-power energy consumption and low-latency services. Device-to-Device communications allows close proximity user equipment to communicate with each other on a cellular bandwidth without a master base station. In this paper, we present a brief overview of pioneer Device-to-Device communication technology, which include technology categorizations, architectures and requirements. We also present comparison of D2D technology with other similar technology like M2M and MANETs.
