The interaction of the anticancer agent mitoxantrone with DNA was investigated using differential pulse voltammetry. A simple and sensitive label free electrochemical DNA biosensor was proposed or the rapid determination of mitoxantrone (MTX) using a DNA-immobilized carbon nanotube/Ag nanocomposites paste electrode (Ag-MWCNTE). At first, the interaction between MTX and the DNA was studied using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV).
