To investigate the inhibitory profiles of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors on matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) activity, the molecular interaction of captopril, enalaprilat, and lisinopril on human MMP-9 were studied. The results showed that the interaction of ligands with the active site of the protein were different.
