Densities of binary mixtures comprising 1,2- propanediol + monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA), triethanolamine (TEA) in temperatures between 288.15 to 298.15 K and their refractive indices in temperature 303.15 K were measured across the whole composition range. Excess molar volumes of the mixtures were derived and correlated as a function of mole fraction using the Redlich-Kister equation for binary mixtures. The experimental values were used to compute the volumetric parameters including the excess molar volume. From the obtained data of refractive index, the excess refractive indices have been calculated by Reis et al model. The results obtained were used to study the nature of molecular interactions in the mixtures.
