Liquid–liquid equilibrium (LLE) data for the ternary system of water+propionic acid+isoamyl acetatehave been determined at 313.15K under atmospheric pressure. The Othmer- Tobias correlations were used to check the reliability of the experimental data. The obtained LLE data were correlated by the NRTL activity coefficient model. Consequently, extraction capability of isoamyl acetate was evaluated with respect to distribution coefficient and separation factor.
