In this study, a polysulfone (PSf) mixed matrix ultrafiltration membrane including Titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles was fabricated by the phase inversion method. The influences of Titanium dioxide nanoparticles on fabrication of polysulfone (PSf) blended membranes were investigated in terms of hydrophilicity, permeation performance. Membrane morphology and antifouling property water flux of the mixed matrix membranes significantly improved after the addition of TiO2 nanoparticles due to a higher hydrophilicity of the prepared membranes. The water contact angle measurements corroborated the increased hydrophilicity of the modified membranes. The Bovine serum albumin filtration results indicated that by addition of the low quantity of TiO2 nanoparticles, and the fouling resistance parameters were significantly declined.
