In this work, the attosecond evolution of the electron in hydrogen atom is observed and retrieved from its high-order harmonic spectrum under an ultrashort intense laser pulse starting from a superposition of different electronic states. To do so, we solved numerically the exact time-dependent Schrödinger equation (TDSE) for this interaction. The HHG spectrum is also decomposed and resolve into different electronic states. We show that recombination to the ground electronic state is dominant.
