Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men, but it can often be treated successfully. Phenoxodiol being assessed in several clinical studies against a range of cancer types and showed to have a good efficacy and safety profile. Boron-nitride nanotubes (BNNTs) are inherently non-cytotoxic and may be better than to CNTs in biological systems. At present work, we explore the adsorption properties of Phenoxodiol interacting with BN55 and BNNT-Ga by Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations.
