Visionary experience in Mysticism

واقعه از تجربيات شگفت‏انگيزي است كه معمولاً متصوفه در دوران چله‏نشيني از آن ياد مي‏كنند، جلوه‏هاي سوررئال و نماديني در واقعه‏هاست كه مي‏توان آن را ژانري ادبي شمرد. واقعه‏هايي كه سالكين نقل مي‏كنند، خواننده را با نوعي كشف و شهود عرفاني كه سالك در حالتي بين خواب و بيداري يا بيداري كامل درك مي‏كند، آشنا مي‏سازد و ستاره‏اي ديگر از كهكشان پر راز و رمز عرفان و تصوف ايران را در ديده‏ها مي‏آرايد. اين پژوهش قصد دارد تا واقعه را از منظر عرفان و تصوف معرفي كند و خوانندگان را با اقسام و مراتب آن آشنا سازد تا از اين رهگذر اين اصطلاح عرفاني را شرح، و تفاوت آن را با رؤيا و مكاشفه بيان نمايد. واقعه ممكن است درست يا نادرست باشد و به‏ويژه براي سالكان مبتدي، واقعاتي مورد توجه قرار مي‏گيرد كه در دوره‏ي چله‏نشيني آن هم در حضور شيخ رخ داده است، تا فراخور چيزهايي كه سالك ديده، شنيده و حس كرده واقعه‏ها را براي او تأويل و تفسير كند و هدايت و راهنمايي نمايد. البته براي پيران طريقت نيز واقعه روي مي‏دهد كه خود معبر و شارح آنند. واقعه براي سالكان به منزله‏ي چراغي است كه روشنگري مي‏كند و ره مي‏نمايد يا كليدي است كه درهاي بسته سؤالات جسمي و روحي يا مادي و معنوي را بر آنها مي‏گشايد.

Visionary experience is one of those wonderful experiences at which Sufis usually refer in the period of forty-day meditation. There are such surreal and symbolic effects in these experiences that can be a special genre in the world’s literature. Those anecdotal visionary experiences narrated by Sufis make the reader familiar with sort of mystical intellectual intuition perceived by mystic disciple in a state between sleeping and waking or fully waking. They blazon another star from the mysterious galaxy of Sufism of Iran in one’s eyes. This research aims to define visionary experience from the view point of Sufism and makes the readers familiar with its kinds and stages, thereby explaining this mystical expression and differentiating it from vision and mystical unveiling.The research concludes that visionary experience may be true or false. Especially with regard to amateur disciples, those visionary experiences are considered that have occurred in the period of forty-day meditation and also in the presence of sheikh, so that in accordance with things that the disciple has seen, heard, and perceived, he interprets those experiences and provides guidance. Indeed, visionary experience also occurs to Sufi sheikhs and masters and they themselves interpret and make comment about it. Finally, it is to say that visionary experience for disciples is as a light enlightening the path or as a key opening the locked doors of their physical and mental or spiritual questions.
