In this paper, the effects of pipe curvature and fluid velocity on natural frequencies of curved pipes conveying fluid are investigated. The results obtained by ANSYS software are compared by accurate results which is available in literature. The fluid flow is considered inviscid, incompressible and laminar. It is shown that by increasing the radius of curvature of pipe, the pipe behaves like a Timoshenko tube. Hence, it can be solved by using Hamilton principle. Both of the pipe motions (i.e., in-plane and out-of-plane motions) are analyzed. The critical velocity of in-plane motions is cannot commented, due to the fact that the velocity in out-of-plane motion tends to its critical point faster than the velocity in in-plane motion.
