Microfluidic can facilitate synthesize of nanoparticles which have countless applications in the drug delivery and disease detection. The size of particles have a direct relation to the amount of drugs that delivers on each organ. In order to control size of the particles, one fascinating way is using a T-junction microfluidic microchip. There are two distinct inlets in a T-junction microchip that one of them is related to the core flow and another one is related to the shear flow. By using a polymer as a core flow and a proper cross-linker, a size-controlled nanoparticle can be achieved. The diameter of the nanoparticle depends on the relative velocity of the core flow to the shear flow. Due to the fact that drug delivery depends on the diameter of the nanoparticles, different relative velocity has investigated to show the proper one for the synthesis.
