In this paper, a versatile model for predicting the effect of mechanical and electrical parameters on commercial magnetic shape memory alloy (MSMA) based energy harvester systems is presented. Such systems use permanent magnet as the source of bias magnetic field in a magnetic circuit. Modeling strategy incorporates the constitutive model developed before together with the magnetic and electric equivalent circuits. Validation of the proposed model has shown a 2.5% mean squared error in accordance with the reference experimental data. As the main novelty of this paper, the parameters in the proposed model such as MSMA dimensions, material and dimensions of ferromagnetic core, electrical elements etc. are alterable. Thus, the results from simulations can be used in future energy harvester design and parameters optimization in different situations.
