The National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) 4412 airfoil is widely used in industrial applications and aerodynamic characteristics of the airfoil influence the performance of the application. So, the aim of this study is to investigate the behavior of NACA 4412 airfoil at different operating conditions with computational fluid dynamics method using two-equation κ-𝜔 shear stress transport (SST) turbulence model. A grid study has been done and a proper mesh has been chosen. The CFD analysis is carried out using ANSYS FLUENT 16.0 and the aerodynamic coefficients are calculated at 9 angles of attack ranging from -6 to 18 degrees at a Reynolds number of 2.3×〖10〗^6 based on chord length. The predicted aerodynamics coefficients matched with reliable experimental data.
