Homotopy perturbation method (HPM) is one of the most powerful analytical methods for solving many of linear and nonlinear ordinary and partial differential equations. Also, this method can present solution for coupled differential equations. In this paper, the coupled nonlinear diffusion–reaction equations are solved by using HPM. The solution of HPM is compared with solution obtained by adomian decomposition method. The results show that by using HPM, it is needed to solve only the first two equations in order to attain an accurate solution while by using homotopy analysis method and variational iteration method, one should take and solve four first terms.
