In this paper, buckling analysis of the nano porous straight beam of rectangular cross section under compressive axial load with temperature effects is carried out. The effect of elastic foundation is considered as transverse distributed loading.
The beam is made of isotropic nano porous materials and its properties are varying through thickness of the beam like Young’s modulus, shear modulus and Thermal coefficient due to the non-uniform porosity distribution. Theoretical formulation and governing of motion Based on Euler Bernoulli beam theory are derived. Hamilton s principle and Galerkin’s method is employed to obtain critical thermal buckling load of porous nano beams.
