Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs) has been incorporated in Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymers (GFRPs) in different methods to improve their Interlaminar Shear Strength (ILSS). In addition, the influence of Glass Fiber Textures (GTs) surface quality has been evaluated in various short beam strength experiments. For this purpose, CNTs incorporated in epoxy and GTs, in different routes, on diverse quality of GTs, and with assorted lay-ups to evaluate the nano scale interactions in GFRP’s interface during shear loads. Dispersing CNTs in epoxy increased the ILSS of GFRPs about 5% when simple GTs utilized. Deposition of CNTs on simple GTs will improve the ILSS more than chemically treating GTs in the composite layers. CNT-dispersed epoxy did not recognize effective to escalate GFRP’s interface interactions. Best ILSS progress achieved around 32% when CNTs deposited on treated GTs and utilized in core layers of GFRPs.
