Friction is an important reason for damping and wasting energy in dynamic mechanical systems whose equation is nonlinear. In this paper, Complex Averaging Method is used for frequency analysis. Some calculation is done for converting models nonlinear equations to averaging form. For considering different friction features three friction models is exercised for frequency analysis which are Colomb, Dahl and LuGre model. The same parameters of friction models are considered equal to compare them. Discussed problem is free vibration of a clamped-free beam and the friction force is located in its end. Finally The figure of frequency-amplitude is depicted which indicates the variety of models behavior.
