    Various cavitation regimes which occur in a nozzle of fuel injector play a dominant role in the fuel spray atomization process and the subsequent spray combustion quality and reduction of emissions. In this paper, the effect of electrowetting phenomenon on cavitation flow in nozzle of fuel injector and subsequent atomization characteristics, in the presence of nozzle wall material modification and using accessible range of DC voltages of engine supplementary electronic system, was numerically investigated.
