In this study, performance of radial turbine functioning on a heavy duty turbo-diesel engine has been investigated, and effects of applying VGT system have been evaluated under Steady State condition by using CFD commercial code. The radial turbine simulated and 3D model derived from basic principles and validated against experimental data, which was provided by manufacture. Performance maps plotted at constant rotational speed and 8 different conditions have been compared with the nozzleless turbine.
