In this communication, the effect of input current and frequency of the power supply on the net pumped volume are investigated and the performance curves of the micropump are extracted. We present this novel micropump in our previous paper, and an optimal model was presented there. The micropump works based on periodically oscillation of a magnetorheological elastomer actuated using sinusoidal time-dependent magnetic field. Fluctuating wall propels fluid toward two terminals and the valves rectify backflow and generate one-direction fluid flow. A fully coupled magneto-fluid-solid interaction method is used to simulate the process, numerically. Effect of frequency and input current on the net transported volume are examined, and characteristic curves of the micropump are extracted for the operating frequency and input current. The result shows that this micropump can work well in the different range of frequency and input current.
