When the arterial wall gets hurt, white clot form and blocks path of blood out of the vessel. Since the white clot mostly consists of platelet, this is necessary to study platelet margination near the vessel wall. In the present work, three phase blood flow through different diameter arterioles is investigated based on a two dimensional control volume method. For this purpose, Eulerian model is used to simulate plasma, platelets and Red Blood Cells (RBCs) interaction. Platelets and RBCs are assumed as granular solids which are conveyed by plasma liquid phase. The effect of diameter is considered on the wall shear rate and platelet margination. In this regard, some arterioles under 100µm diameter with hematocrit 45% are simulated. It is shown wall shear stress and platelet concentration near the vessel wall increase in result of reduction in arteriole diameter using specific shear rate.
