Natural convection heat transfer between concentric horizontal cylinders is investigated numerically in laminar Ra_L numbers (≤〖10〗^5). Pressure effect is elucidated by implementing finite volume method and considering ideal gas assumption for air as working fluid. Here, the computational domain is the entire space between the cylinders. Under various pressures, the equivalent conductive heat transfer coefficients (k_eq) and Nu numbers are obtained. In order to validate the results, streamlines and isothermal lines are compared with previous experimental studies. The results indicate direct relation between the pressure and the overall heat transfer with a decreasing rate. No inconsistency and conflict was detected with the literature.
