چكيده فارسي :
Interfacial debonding and matrix cracking are two of most important damage modes, which affect the behavior, and properties of composite materials especially in micromechanical levels. In the present study, by using cohesive zone model (CZM) as well as extended finite element method (XFEM), the effects of initiation and propagation of fibre/ matrix debonding and matrix cracking on the behavior and properties of representative volume elements (RVE) with different fibre shapes will be studied. Firstly the behavior of CZM and XFEM has been studied through the validation of an available work, then with exerting a transverse loading and appropriate boundary conditions on the RVE’s, the effects of these damage modes on the properties of them will studied. .
