This research work presents a numerical modeling of solar adsorption refrigeration system. The refrigerant of the system is methanol and activated carbon tubes work as the adsorbent bed. The ambient temperature and the solar irradiation are based on real climatic data on the 1st of August in Tehran. The effect of various working parameters on the thermal and solar COP of the investigated system are investigated. Based on the results, the studied solar refrigeration system may work with a reasonable COP. In addition, increment of the evaporator temperature leads to increase both of the thermal and the solar coefficient of performances.
