The recent significant advancement in manufacturing technologies broadened the boundaries of manufacturing systems. Gradually these advancements have been led to formation of novel paradigms. Ubiquitous Manufacturing (UM) is one those novel paradigms which focuses on exploiting manufacturing resources from all over the globe. UM proposes exploitation from the potentials of a global manufacturing system from everywhere. As one of the critical aspects of a global manufacturing system is material supplying and scheduling, so it is needed to be considered in UM systems. This paper focuses on developing a mathematical perspective of material supplying and scheduling in a UM system by an integrated approach. A novel mathematical modeling has been proposed based on an integrated supplier selection to alleviate the constraints and criteria in a UM environment. Finally, the paper has concluded the remarks and delineated an outline for future works.
