In this paper, we present the numerical method for solving fractional partial differential equations using the fractionalorder Lagrange polynomials (FLPs). A new operational matrix of Caputo fractional derivative of FLPs is driven. Using this matrix and collocation method the problem can be reduced to a set of algebraic equations. The error analysis shows that the algorithm is convergent. The method is tested on examples. The results show that the FLPs yields better results.
