In this paper a new high step down non isolated soft switching buck converter is proposed. In order to achieve high step down conversion ratio, coupled inductor are charged in series and discharged in parallel in the output capacitor. In the proposed converter the clamp capacitor is in series in the power path which further reduces the voltage gain while provides soft switching for both switches. Therefore, both switches operate under zero voltage switching condition. The proposed converter is analyzed and experimental results are presented.
