The problem of disturbance rejection roughly appears in control systems, active noise, and vibration control. This paper presents an algorithm to cancel sinusoidal disturbances with uncertain frequency acting on unknown plant. This algorithm consists of a second order generalized integrator frequency locked-loop (SOGI-FLL) and an adaptive mechanism for estimation of plant’s frequency response. Then the problem of disturbance rejection is extended for unknown time-delay plant in which a mechanism for estimation of time-delay is added to the previous algorithm which can cancel sinusoidal disturbance acting on unkown time-delay plant. Perfomance of the proposed algorithms is evaluated by various simulations.
