3-aminophenol was electropolymerized in a separated electrochemical-cell on Pt anode and in sodium acetate medium under constant current condition. After 5 hours electro-polymerization, a dark brown product was precipitated [1-3]. It was separated and purified. The product was insoluble in water and soluble in DMSO. The polymer was characterized by DSC, FT-IR, HNMR and CV. A suitable mechanism for electrode reaction was proposed based on the obtained results. The prepared poly3-aminophenol was coated on acid-washed wheat bran and used as a sorbent in SPE for extraction and preconcentration of diazinon from water samples prior to injection to HPLC. All parameters affecting the SPE process were studied and optimized. The extractions were carried out in batch mode and the HPLC performances were recorded using isocratic system. The linear range of standard curve was between to 1-100 μgL-1 of diazinon in real samples with correlation coefficient of 0.9983. The limit of quantification (LOQ) and preconcentration factor (PF) where 0.2 ngml-1 of diazinon and 100 respectively.
