Magnetic nanoparticles are becoming increasingly important with controlled size and composition for a wide range of applications. Among these, iron oxides are the most intensively studied due to unique properties such as information storage, color imaging, magnetic refrigeration, medical diagnosis and controlled drug delivery [1].Cancer nanotherapy has been the focus of most of the research for the development of magnetic nanoparticles owing to their physical and chemical magnetic properties, which allow their use as therapeutic vehicles and contrast agents [2]. The most common techniques used to determine drug loaded content and the rate of drug release in pharmaceutical are high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and (UV-VIS) spectrophotometry [3]. In this research, the magnetic nanoparticles were synthesized by ferric chloride salts 2 and 3 were coated with the poly-caprolactone polymer . In the next step anticancer drug (Methotrexate) was loaded onto nanocomposite and the drug release was investigated at normal body temperature and in different pH. After examining the properties of the synthesized compounds by FT-IR, SEM, VSM and then examined the amount of loaded drug delivery from biodegradable polymer by using spectrophotometry (UV-VIS). A technique that has gained most attention is (UV-VIS) spectrophotometry, owing to its simplicity and low operational cost. Another significant feature of the method is that, because the proposed method combines the wide determination range and low detection limit, the samples can be further diluted thus eliminating any potential interferences.
