In recent days, pesticides are widely applied for pest control in agriculture and public health, due to which a large part of drinking water is getting contaminated [1-2]. Due to their wide spread use, it is necessary to focus on decreasing or, if possible, removing the release of toxic compounds. Nanoparticles can be utilized for removal and destruction .of pesticides in water samples [3-4].For the first time, we examined the method of dispersive solid-phase extraction using Poly (ethylene glycol)-flower-like CuO /Ag nanoparticles for the removal and destruction of hexaconazole, penconazole and diniconazole in the waste water samples followed using high-performance liquid chromatography. In this new technique, Poly (ethylene glycol)-flower-like CuO nanoparticle were synthesized using the hydrothermal method. This method is fast, simple and low-cost.Also, a green, rapid, ecofriendly and convenient method to synthesis of silver nanoparticles using low cost biological reducing agent Amaranthus Retroflexus leaf extract has been developed. No chemical reagent was required in this protocol. Characterization and particle size analysis of the biosynthesized silver nanoparticles were performed by X-Ray diffractometer and transmission electron microscopy. The optimal conditions were investigated. The results showed that the new sorbent removes and degrades the triazole pesticides in water used for washing vegetables.
