Phthalate esters including dimethyl phthalate (DMP), diethyl phthalate (DEP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), di (2-ethyl, hexyl) phthalate (DEHP) are the main plasticizers used in polymer industry. Migration of polymer additives or residual monomers from food contact polymers into packed foods and drinks (liked bottled mineral water or beverages) is one the most important ways of food contamination and human exposure to these harmful chemicals [1]. On the other hand, trihalomethanes (THMs) are byproducts of water disinfection by chlorine which cause cancer, reproductive and developmental problems for human health [2]. So this shows vital need for design of more sensitive analytical methods for monitoring of them in real samples like foods and water. For this purpose a new SPME fiber based on incorporation of Graphene oxide nanosheets (GONs) in poly styrene (PS) was prepared. The best composition of the coating on copper wire was applied as a SPME fiber. The proposed fiber was successfully applied for extraction phthalate esters from packed pasteurized milk before determination by GC-FID (LOD=0.5-0.8µg L-1, LDR=1-20 µg L-1) and extraction of THMs from bottled water samples before determination by GC-ECD (LOD=0.04-0.08 µg L-1, LDR=0.1-10 µg L-1).
