Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like naproxen (NAP) [(S)-2-(6-methoxy-2-naphthyl)propionic acid] and nabumetone (NAB) [4-(6-methoxy-2-naphthyl)-butan-2-one] are widely used for the treatment of pain-related diseases such as rheumatic disorders in human. They are also consumed in conjunction with antibiotics to medicate inflammation, pain, fever and respiratory diseases[1-3]. In This Project, solid phase microextraction of naproxen using nanomagnetic functionalized by SiO2 was considered as rapid, sensitive and inexpensive method. Magnetic nanoparticles due to rapid isolation by magnet has been attracted greater than other nanoparticles. In this technique of microextraction is investigated the possibility extraction of drug than environment .This extraction was used for naproxen in urine sample. In this study, experimental design was used for finding optimal conditions. Parameters such as pH aqueous solution, absorption and desorption time, the amount of nanoparticle, the type and amount of desorption solution, the Volume of aqueous solution and salt effect investigated. After archiving to optimum conditions and drawing the calibration curve obtained the linear range, 0.0005 to 0.008 mg.L-1 and limit of detection 0.00014 mg L-1 , (n=3) and the preconcentration factor Of 3.7 and 100.35 were obtained. For urine sample as actual Sample with spiked standard solution were calculated relative recovery and relative standard deviation and the satisfied results were obtained.
