Let S be any ring with identity in which 2 is invertible and let H(S ) be the quaternion ring over S . In
the present paper, we show that any Jordan derivation of H(S ) is a derivation, and every derivation of
H(S ) decomposes into the sum of a derivation induced by a derivation on S and an inner derivation.
Moreover, we show that every biderivation of H(S ) is inner. Some related results are also obtained.
