A kind of multiplicatively closed subset of C(X) namely z-mcs is introduced. Relating to each z-
mcs such as S , a filter FS of subsets of X is presented and it is shown that S 1C(X) and P(X;FS )
are isomorphic rings, here P(X;FS ) is an equivalence class of continuous real-valued functions with
domains in FS
