Understanding the role of input is an important and major issue in the process of second language learning, teaching and research. The term input is itself taken from information processing and is seems as written/oral data which learners are face to. Since learners don’t take in everything they are exposed to, one essential and central major issue in the process of SLA and learning for learners generally and for the teachers particularly is what part of potentially possible data permeates their minds. Another key question in the input domain which this paper will focus is what are the factors and process that facilitate the processing of input /data to learners. The purposes of this paper is, therefore, to analysis and examine the above mentioned issues and to provide a framework that can serve as a major starting points for learning, teaching and doing the research in SLA domains.
