For the first time, on-line hydride generation using ultrasonic nebulizer was applied for determination of Sb(III) and Sb(V) by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). Duo to different kinetics of hydride generation of different oxidation state of antimony, speciation analysis would be possible by this technique. In this work, ultrasonic nebulizer was used for on-line and direct hydride generation as well as for sample for ICP-OES. Parameters affecting on speciation analysis were investigated and under optimal conditions, limits of detection were 0.04 and 0.14 ng mL-1 for Sb(III) and Sb(V), respectively.
