Following rising rate of technology and industry developments, design and manufacturing of fast, small and low power electronic devices have been crucial. On the other hand, current silicon-based devices are reaching their physical constraints. To overcome this issue, nanoelectronic devices have been taken into consideration as an alternative solution. In this regard, nanotubes are in spotlight of recent scientific societies as a prominent solution to be used in the future manufacturing devices. In this article, we compared Carbon Nanotubes (CNT) with Boron Nitride Nanotubes (BNNT) by analyzing the associated structure and properties. We showed that, the BNNT has some superiorities over the CNT so that it can be another prominent solution for the future nanoelectronics industry
