In this research, the Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) have been synthesized via solvothermal method and used for the efficient preconcentration of the reactive blue 194 as a reactive dye from aqueous solutions. The synthesized MNPs were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Transmission electron microscope (TEM) techniques. In addition, the effective parameters which optimized and used for the dye preconcentration include concentration of eluent, adsorption pH, desorption time, adsorption time, sorbent dose, amount of the eluent for elution. Linear range, enrichment factor and preconcentration factor were obtained 0.3-2µg/ml, 117.75, and 0.02, respectively. The proposed method has been applied successfully to determine the trace amount of reactive blue 194 in river and tap water samples.
