A new polymeric copper catalyst (PVA@Cu Schiff base complex) was synthesized by preparation of Schiff base ligand on the polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) framework in order to preparation of cooper (II) complex and used for preparation of polytetrazole (PTZ) by polysalicylaldehyde (PSA) as a precursor, hydroxylamine hydrochloride and azide salt via an easy and efficient one-pot, three-component green method under mild conditions. PTZ and PVA@Cu Schiff base complex were characterized with some methods include: FTIR, elemental analysis (CHNS), 1H NMR, UV-Vis, ICP and TGA instruments. Eeasily recoverable, reusable property, good thermal stability and high excellent yield for preparation of polytetrazole are some properties of the catalyst.
