Effect of Zataria multiflora bosis, Satureja bachtiarica and Zaravschanica memberanacea alcoholic extract on immunohemathologic factors of serum in Rat.

Objective: Increasing consumption of synthetic drugs is a major problem in modern medicine that indiscriminate use can weaken and neutralize their influence and cause dangerous side effects caused by repeated use of the indiscriminate use. So considering this issue should basically turned patients into taking herbs. In the present study due to the excellent properties of herbs, especially Zataria Multiflora Bosis, Satureja bachtiarica and Zaravschanica memberanacea, we examined the effects of these plants on Immunohematological factors.Materials and Methods: In this study, 35 rats were used, the Rats were divided into 7 groups of 5, a group of them is control and 6 other groups were receiving the herbal extracts. The first group was control and second and third receiving Zaravschanica memberanacea ourth and fifth receiving Satureja bachtiarica and sixth and seventh receiving Zataria Multiflora Bosis. Extracts in doses of 200 and 400 mg were used. Results and conclusion: By studies on hematologic indices no statistic significant difference observed between treatment and control groups. The total protein in the second group (200 mg Zaravschanica memberanacea) has significantly increase compared to controls. IgM amount the seventh group (400 mg extract of Zataria Multiflora Bosis) has significant increase compared to the control group. Albumin in group II and group IV (200 mg Satureja bachtiarica) showed a significant increase compared to control. WBC in the seventh group showed a significant increase. Neutrophils in Group V (400 mg Satureja bachtiarica) increased significantly. Monocyte in the second and sixth group (200 mg Zataria Multiflora) increased significantly. Percentage and number of phagocytosis in group V and VII showed a significant increase.in the present research it was shown that Zataria Multiflora Bosis and Satureja bachtiarica increase Immunity and phagocytosis and Zaravschanica memberanacea enhances liver function by increasing the amount of serum albumin and Total Protein
