Divergent soils are clay soils that are easily washed in low concentration water. The clay contained in these soils has large amounts of sodium ion in their absorption cations. Divergence is a progressive phenomenon that starts from a point with a concentration of water flow and gradually expands the starting point of the divergence phenomenon can be the cracks resulting from the contraction and seams or cracks from the root of the plants.
