In this study, microcapsules containing linseed oil (LO) and with polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) shell
were prepared by solvent evaporation method. The yield of microcapsulation and the oil content of microcapsules were obtained about 65-87% and 70%, respectively. Surface modification of PMMA microcapsules was performed by HDMA in order to create functional groups that was detected by FTIR. Optical microscopy indicated a spherical
morphology for micrcapsules with mean size of 5 µm and 50 µm at 1000 and 600 rpm, respectively.
