Lattice plates have been extensively used as lightweight structures in many industries. In the present research,
an exact material modeling using Heaviside distribution functions is presented for lattice composite plates. Using CLT
(classical lamination theory), equilibrium equations for lattice composite plates under uniform temperature field are
derived. The equations are solved by performing closed form Galerkin method. The thermal buckling modes are
obtained by solving the eigenvalue problem. The general solution presented in this paper includes laminates with
arbitrary stacking sequences. The accuracy of theoretical model is checked through comparisons with finite element
results obtained by simulation in ABAQUS and good agreement is achieved
