This paper presents the thermodynamic study of a power generation cycle based on biomass fuel which combines with an Organic Rankine cycle. Biomass fuel is purely make of bagasse. Energy and exergy analysis is done for combustion process with bagasse and solar collector with optimized characteristics to generate superheat steam. Organic Rankine cycle (ORC) can effectively recover low grade waste heat because of its excellent thermodynamic performance. Based on the examinations, effects of key thermodynamic parameters on the exergy efficiency, the power generation cycle and ORC with R134a as working fluid is conducted to achieve the system design exergy destruction and its percentage in power generation process. The output power of this system is fixed on the constant amount of 50 KW which is obtained from micro turbine and ORC turbine. The results showed that the most exergy destructions are for bagasse burner, turbines and solar collector that respectively contain 58%, 22% and 17% of the total destructions.
